Fabric Guide
Works across your wardrobe.
Staticless is tested on the fabrics you actually wear. Here's what to expect.
Best performance. Polyester and synthetic fabrics are where static cling is worst — and where Staticless works best. One light swipe on the inside of the garment typically stops static completely. Tested across polyester dress shirts, blouses, and performance wear.
Built for this. Leggings, compression gear, spandex/nylon blends — the fabrics most prone to static during movement. Swipe the inside of the waistband and inner thigh area for leggings. Unlike dryer sheets, Staticless is designed not to interfere with moisture-wicking properties.
Excellent results. Cotton generates less static than synthetics, but cotton-poly blends are common static offenders. One swipe handles it. 100% cotton may not need treatment unless conditions are very dry.
The classic use case. For dresses and skirts that cling to tights or legs, swipe the inside of the garment from waist to hem. Use 2–3 parallel passes on larger surface areas. Focus on the areas where fabric contacts your skin or other garments.
Use with light pressure. Wool and delicate fabrics may need an extra pass for full effect. Because Staticless is a solid, wax-free formula rather than a liquid or spray, it's gentler on delicate fibers — and our own silk testing showed no adverse effects on the fabric. Even so, always test on a small, hidden area first, and apply to the inside of the garment. Silk may require 2–3 passes.
Tips for best results
💧 Use on dry fabric
Staticless works best on dry garments. Damp fabric won't hold a static charge, so the bar doesn't need to work — but it also won't transfer effectively to wet surfaces.
🔄 Apply to the inside
Swipe the interior of your garment for the most invisible application. The formula works to neutralize charge on both sides of the fabric.
✨ A little goes a long way
One light pass per area is all you need. Over-applying won't improve performance — the active ingredients work on contact.
🌡️ Store below 94°F
The bar is heat-stable, but for longest life, keep it out of direct sunlight. Safe for your car, gym bag, or desk drawer.
